HPG Press Liaison Center in a written statement on May 27 (yesterday) at 23.00 hours regarding the occupying Turkish state, informing about the operation of the invading Turkish army and the effective response to the Freedom Fighters of Kurdistan.
The explanation made by HPG-BİM is as follows;
On 27 May (yesterday) at around 11 pm, an invasion operation was launched by the occupying Turkish army against the Shahid and Derwesh areas of the Xakurke region of Southern Kurdistan. Following intense bombardments of the occupying forces, warplanes and helicopters, were used to show presence in the area with the setdowns they wanted to make.
The Turkish special warfare press wants to distort the truth by throwing triumphs about the developing process, and based on false data, it tries to show the scope of the operation much larger than it truthfully is. It is clear that the operation of this land-based operation, which can be considered as an effort to carry the war process in the Lêlîkan region from a different region last year, will face with the most effective response of the Kurdistan Freedom fighters and one of the greatest impacts in history.
