HPG Press Liaison Centre have released details of the actions on May 22 and May 26, between the retaliatory actions of Amed’s Licê district and Xarpêt’s Artin and Arıcak district.
HPG explained the following details:
On May 22, the occupying TC army launched an operation in the rural area of Xarpêt’s Arıcak district with the support of secret troops. In the morning of May 23, our forces organized an action against the enemy units shortly after their operation began.
Many of the enemy soldiers who were killed were shot from close range. After the conflict and the action, the occupying TC army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with skorsky helicopters. On the same day, the occupying troops of the Turkish army, who were partially withdrawn in the evening, were preparing ambushes in the field.
On May 26th, at 9.00 am, our forces organized an assassination attempt on soldiers in the Opek outpost in the district of Lice in Amed. 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action.
On May 26 at 22.30, the occupying TC army bombed the Ermuş and Mıslokê areas of the Xakurke region from the Media Defense Areas and the Werxelê area of the Avaşin district. There was no loss in these bombings.
