The HPG Press Liaison Center has made a written statement about guerrilla actions and attacks by the Turkish state.
The HPG description included the following details:
IĞDIR – As part of the ongoing Revolutionary Victory Assault in Serhat Province, our forces carried out an action on Iğdır’s Basaran station on May 25th at 16.20. Two soldiers were killed in this action, where the enemy sites and shelters were hit effectively. After the action, the occupying TC army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with Skorsky helicopters.
XAKURA – The activities of our forces against the occupying TC army continue uninterruptedly within the scope of the ongoing Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault in the Media Defense Areas. In this context;
At 6 pm on May 25, our forces organized an action against the occupying soldiers located in the Eli Direj area of the Xakurke region. One soldier was killed and two soldiers were wounded in the action where the enemy units were positioned under intense fire. Towards the night, the invading TC army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with the Skorsky type of helicopters.
On the same day at 21.00 hours, the occupier TC set down soldiers via Skorsky helicopters at Xakurke’s Lêlîkan hill. 3 Cobra type helicopters were taken under heavy fire from 3 branches and had to move away from the area. One was damaged.
BITLIS – The occupying TC army has been making a new outpost in the Axpik valley of the town of Hizan in Bitlis. On May 20, our forces organized an action against the enemy’s construction machinery working in the construction of the police station. It was destroyed here by a targeted force.
AIR ATTACK
Between 13.30 and 14.30 on 25 May, the occupying TC military bombed the areas of Mediairrk of the Xakurke region, Faxir and Mıslokê from the Media Defense Areas. There was no loss in these bombings
