In Riha’s Wêranşar and Pirsus districts, 10 citizens were detained during house raids on the morning of 16 May, and are now held at Riha TEM Branch. The 10 civillians who were held in police custody were reported to be tortured by the TEM police.
The detainees were removed from their cells under the name of investigation and were taken to the upper floor with their hands tied and blindfolded, where they were subjected to both psychological and physical torture.
Those who are in custody are expected to appear in court in the coming days.
