YPS-JIN Coordination made a written statement and commemorated Zeryan Deniz Amed, the commander of YPS-JIN who was killed in self-governance resistances.
The YPS-JIN statement is as follows:
We commemorate YPS-JIN Coordination with love and respect for the 4th year of the martyrdom of the free woman YPS-Jin commander Zeryan Deniz, who became a hero in the self-governence resistance.
In the face of the attacks on Kurdistans cities, within the framework of the collapse plan of the fascist genocidal Turkish state, Kurdish youths also resisted in the cities. Thousands of soldiers brought by the enemy in all cities were defeated by a handful of young people, who resisted against the fascist State. And in these resistances, the enemy was hit with serious blows. Şırnak’s resistance, spilled enemy blood. Zeryan is one of our friends who has the biggest share in blowing the enemy in Şırnak city resistance. At a young age, she has always managed to remain young in her search for freedom. With her modest and determined stance in both life and struggle, she has created her throne in the hearts of both her comrades and our people.
The resistance of the commander Zeryan, who fought her way to hers last breath fighting, resisting, running from position to position, is an invitation to youth in the fields of freedom struggle for the free tomorrow. Resisting all the colonial castles by resisting the mountains, dungeons, cities and squares. People like Kemal, Hayri, Ferhat, Agit, Mehmet Tunç, Çiyager, Sara, Asya, Ruken, Berivan, and to follow in the footsteps of the Zeryans are orders and instructions to the youth of Kurdistan.
The symbol of the free and honorable future depends on what will be done as the youth of Kurdistan. Tomorrow is late and this responsibility and obligation cannot be postponed. Now is the time for the Zeryans and Ciyagers.
As YPS-Jin, the pioneer power of the Kurdistan youth, we promise to raise our struggle for free, to undertake the freedom paradigm of our leadership by becoming Zeryans, Berivans and Çiyagers under all circumstances.
