HPG/YJA Star guerillas carried out an opperation on the occupying Turkish state. Two atack-type helicopters were hit, one of which was burnt, and 5 soldiers killed in the district of Iğdır on 1 May.
Local sources reported that the hit helicopter crashed shortly after moving away from the field of action and that 2 pilots were also killed.
