HPG Press Liaison Center (HPG-BİM) made a statement of the milllitary actions in Bedlîs on 16-18 March. According to HPG-BIM, the units that came into operation have taken control and effectively hit from close range. At least 3 soldiers were killed in guerrilla activities.
TWO MILITARY VEHICLES FROM CLOSE RANGE
HPG explained the details of these actions as follows:
On May 15, the occupying TC army launched an operation with the support of secret troops in the areas of Şêx Cuma and Şehit Mizgin in Bedlîs.
On May 16th at 10:30 am, an action was organized by our forces against the occupation troops in the Şinadoxan Strait in Şêx Friday area. Our forces have taken enemy soldiers and two enemy vehicles under intense fire at close range. As a result of this action, both vehicles were struck, 3 soldiers were killed and several soldiers were injured.
At 18.40 on the same day, our forces again targeted the soldiers in the Şinadoxan Strait for the second time. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in the enemy unit that was hit effectively could not be determined.
MILITARY UNIT INSPECTION: 1 KILLED, 1 WOUNDED
The soldiers on the slopes of Kulit Tepesi on the 18th of May were being isnpected for one day by our forces. Our forces have targeted this enemy unit at 18.45 on the same day, at which point they were being inspected for a while. One enemy was killed and one soldier was wounded.
On May 19, in the evening, the TC army, whose retreat was inevitable, bombed fields witth attack helicopters and howitzer during their retreat.
AVAŞİN AIR ATTACK
HPG-BIM also stated that the Turkish government is conducting an open air strike on the Avashin region which is under the control of the guerilla. The statement said “On May 20, the occupying TC army bombed the Tepê Sor area, which is connected to the Avaşin region, at 12.30 and the Geliyê Avaşin area between 13.30 and 14.30 from the Media Defense Areas.
There was no loss in these bombings.
