In the Suwara Tuka region, on May 16th, at 11.30 hours, two vehicles belonging to the Turkish army were targetted, 9 soldiers of the Turkish occupation was killed, 21 soldiers including 1 commander were heavily wounded. The occupying Turkish army and its pool media remain silent on the topic.
According to local sources, an explosion occurred during the passage of a military vehicle on the main road between Sersingê and Suwara Tuka. Severe explosion resulted in great damage to vehicles. 9 Turkish soldiers were killed and 21 were injured. One of the heavily wounded troops was later established to be a commander. The Injured commander died in hospital in Turkey.
